  • Welcome to Ends of Fate, my nefarious, catch-all, doll-inspired, story site of D00M!

  • Collected here is everything you ever wanted to know (or didn't want to know) of my world named Aislindalie and its inhabitants. You will find stories, photographs, and character profiles, as well as anything else I feel like sharing. Please do not re-post any of these images as your own or claim they belong to you.  I do allow re-posting for blogging and the like.  (Please ask permission for other use.  I promise I don't bite!)

  • All characters, stories, and images are © TasiaChiba, Shasta, PrincessKitteh Rayne, or Katarera, unless otherwise stated.  Please enjoy what's here!

  • Faceup Commission Rules & Info

    Please Consider:

    • I DO NOT copy other artists’ works.
    • I have my own style and I can’t and won’t copy another.
    • I can be inspired by trends, but please understand that any art will be in my own style.
    • Please be certain you actually like my style before applying! (It’s okay if you don’t, everyone has their own tastes~)
    • I currently do not take Vinyl Anime style heads for commissions. I love them, have them in my collection, and may offer them later, but not at this time. I would prefer to have much more experience with those styles before even attempting them for others.
    • These faceups are handcrafted works of art. Please expect a modicum of imperfections and remember: Eyebrows are sisters not clones, random specs of dust bedazzle our world, a fine line slightly askew is a path to unexpected beginnings.
    • I WILL NOT work on Counterfeits or Recasts. If I discover an assignment is a recast, I will cancel the work and refund all but shipping charges back to you, and promptly return the item(s).
    • My working period is currently 3 months upon arrival. I need this buffer to insure prep work, weather, and possible complexity of the work. It may obviously take less time, but be prepared that it should be 3 months at the most.
    • Heads will be worked on according mostly to their arriving date, but often will be worked together in bulk via stages of layers.

    Payment:

Half of the total payment will be expected up front. At completion, the other half + return shipping fee will be expected before the completed head will be sent out. When faceup has received its final seal, gloss, and eyelashes applied (if requested) then the faceup is considered done.

If you are completely unhappy with the faceup, I will wipe it and charge half of the total price as an extra fee for the re-do. These faceups do take a lot of time and materials and you will have had chances to let me know if there are problems before we ever reach the final stages.

If you do not want a re-do, I will wipe it and return it to you. However, I will not refund the initial down-payment.

    My Process:

    • Upon arrival I will inspect the package condition and inform you of it.
    • I’ll send progress photos over as I go. There are some points of no return with faceups, and I usually finalize layers by sealing them down.
    • My work flow can change like the winds, but usually I start by contour blushing and setting down initial colors for areas such as eyes, lips, and cheeks all in one layer. Then, I will either work the colors darker a bit more or start line work for eyebrows, lashes, eye creases, and mouth creases if needed. Usually, I will take this opportunity to deepen colors and seal again.
    • Any real big changes would have to be met before sealing and starting the following layer. The next layer is refinement of eyebrows and lashes, lips, eye shadows. This would be the last real stage for the faceup.
    • After this, I nitpick! It’s refinement of anything I feel needs adjusting to make colors pop a bit more.
    • This is the FINAL confirmation stage. This will be the last chance for any changes to be made. Only small touches, darkening, or faint highlights can be added.
    • Once CONFIRMED it’s final, it gets a good minimum 3 coat seal and everything gets glossed. I gloss the inner eye wells, tear ducts, lips, and I do add some very fine satin gloss lashes that help give it a 3d impression. Eyelashes are applied if requested and included.
    • Paypal Invoice will be sent for the remaining balance including return shipping fee.
    • After payment, I will ship your painted item(s) and notify you with the return tracking number.
    • Please be sure to inform me when the package arrives at your home!

    Shipping:

Client pays shipping both ways (to me and back to you). Shipping fee is not included in the service.

    • Your head must be ready to ship.  I cannot consider a head that is not currently in your possession. Please wait to have the head in hand before applying. I will absolutely reject a commission if the head is not currently with you. I will consider on a case to case basis if its arrival to you will be within a day or two. In such cases, let me know, and be prepared to ship it shortly after its arrival.
    • Packing:
    • Invoice
    • Doll Head (and/or parts)
      • Wrap the head carefully, with a face mask/protector/shield if you have one, tissue, bubble wrap, etc. Please keep in mind I will use these materials to ship it back to you and will protect the faceup as much as possible. If not enough adequate material is present, I will attempt to find such on hand, but have no guarantee on what they may be. Most likely they will be tissue paper built up around the face to “lift” the distance away from the face before wrapping securely.
      • Make sure the head cannot roll around inside the package. It should be fully padded and in a box. This is crucial in making sure it will not be damaged, let alone the faceup.
      • Be mindful of your shipping box size.  Many countries charge extra for larger sizes.
      • I will use FEDex or USPS, unless otherwise requested, on the way back and will send an invoice of that amount. Keep in mind, shipping to outside of the USA is often more expensive than to the USA.
    • Please ship with a tracking number.
    • I will describe the content as “Toy Resin Doll Head, Return”.
    • Reminders:
      • Be aware of potential customs fees on arrival and prepare for it.
      • Shipping always comes with risk. I will do what I can to help if something unfortunate does occur.
