    • Oh, My Saints!

    An amazing acquirement!  I got not one, not two, but three Saint face plates!  Already bought, in the mail, and arrived at my door step!  My Annette should be here Tuesday, but the Saints arrived first!!!  I’m so excited~  This means I now have two BJDs knocked off my wishlist!!!  I’m beside myself, heee! Saint looks so gorgeous in person, very impressive.  It’s the newer version of the face, but having him in hand is better than not.  I even got a COA with two of the heads.

    On top of all this joy, I was able to finally find a B&W Skull Shores Frankie!  She’ll be here tomorrow with the Original Favorites I bought with her.  Those were bought purely for display and nothing more.  YAY!  That means I can fully custom the B&W Frankie head I have on the Midnight Magic body to my heart’s content, put her on a matching Obitsu body, and let ‘er rip!  I wanted a jointed Fashionista body, but Mattel seams to have pulled them from the market… wha?!  T_T  And I don’t want to spray paint the one body I do have.  =sighs=

    A second-hand, 27cm Obitsu 2 part Soft Bust body + head arrived yesterday.  I was told the head was a basic head, but when it got here I thought it looked like a Volks.  Sure enough!  It’s a Volks Mini blonde head!  Cute in person~  The Obitsu body’s a bit rough and stained in the joints, but most of the damage will be covered.  Gotta do something about the neck peg, though.  Gonna whittle it down to size since it’s already been cut up. ^^;  And that’s considering it’s the largest size! lol!  Almost never got the Volks head off it, yipes!  Haven’t had a chance to put any of the other heads on it yet (due to the neck peg), but rest assured I will be having fun with that shortly!  I definitely want another of these bodies, just haven’t fully decided my plans on them.  This one will be the shared body for now, and eventually end up as the one nekomimi I wanted.  I’m sooo tempted to make my Kyorh crew out of these bodies, but… I’ll have to think about it.  That’d be eight female bodies minimum plus two male bodies.

    Karsh Is Here!

    On Monday my Fairy Land Minifee Karsh project head arrived!  He was so much more lovelier in person than I expected.  I’ve loved the Karsh mold ever since he was released, but wasn’t sure I’d ever have one.  Well, the uncertainty is over, lol!

    He is a project head.  He’s had some work done on him leaving me with just the eyes to finish sculpting/forming and a good deal of sanding to do.  Good thing I’ve had quite the practice on my clay sculpts!  The seller disclosed all the sordid details so I wasn’t shocked in the least.  All his important features are perfectly intact, so really it’s just some sanding and eye modifications to do.  The seller even included a free black fur wig and some acrylic eyes for him that I wasn’t expecting!

    I currently have him sitting on Kah’z body (since Kah’z off of it waiting for a faceup).  He sits low on the neck due to having the FL neck whole.  I’d need a donut if I wanted to make it permanent, but it’s only temporary of course~

    All in all I’m very pleased and happy with this purchase!  He may not have been on the actual wishlist, but most of my doll heads haven’t been… ^_^;

    Speaking of wishlist…  I have officially knocked one off!  I put in my first of two layaway payments for a Luts SDF Annette head!  She’s been on it since her released and I was able to score a lovely one to bring home!  When she gets here I’ll make the final decisions on what she’ll end up as.  Really looking forward to that!  She was initially in the running for a “Subaru,” but I recently came across another doll company that has a mold I feel would be perfect for him… even better than the Ethan!  So I’d rather shoot for that for Subaru.  That leaves the decision for the Annette to be either a female or male… and she’s perfect for both!  Ah well, all in good time!  Last payment is next week, yay!

    Awesome Wigs Scored

    I went through with the wig purchase and the package arrived last week.  It was so awesome having such a large package with so many items to go through!  I now have wigs for four of the Pullips currently at home with some left over that are awesome for the BJDs.  My bro already has his wig picked out for his girl so it’s just my sister having to decide one for her Taeyang and me for mine.  My Pullip will be taking the Ala wig.  It’s just perfect in person!

    The package consisted of 11 stock wigs.  Most in wonderful condition but just a couple need some TLC.  I got them for a steal and quite worth what I paid.  The stock wigs consist of the following: Seiran, Aquel, Ala, Tantus, Yukimura Sanada, Regen Noir, Paja, Nero, William, Lunatic Queen, Arietta (x2).  Plenty to go around and to have fun with.  My bro will be taking the Paja and I have dibs on the Seiran, Aquel, Yukimura, and either William or Tantus.  The rest are up for grabs between the fam.  Trying to get my mum to pick one out for a Pullip I’ll be getting her, hehe~

    Along with the wigs I also bought two Jdolls and an extra floating head.  I had asked to purchase a floating Type 3 body the seller also had available, but she ended up throwing it in for free!  So, the body will go to the floating head and  I’ll have three Jdolls!  I bought Esplanadi Katu, Old Arbat, and a Rue De Charonne head.  They’re so lovely in person!  They’re nude, but in great condition.  Esplanadi Katu even still had the original plastic covering on her limbs!  They even have their stands, too!  Wasn’t expecting that at all~

    Yesterday the seller for the Karsh head informed me she will be shipping on Friday, so I’m all shades of excitement now!  Still haven’t ordered the Mirodoll body yet, but I have plenty of time.  Hopefully I’ll get some pictures up soon.  Between work, weather, and lack of lighting I just haven’t gotten any taken yet. ^^;  Ah well~
